Matt and I teach from our home in the Eldersburg/Sykesville area of Carroll County. Our classes are kept small to allow time for personal attention in an intimate setting. We do a full 12-week session in 10 weeks of time to better accommodate our students' busy lives. A standard 12-week session runs a two hour class. We now teach a two and a half hour class in 10 weeks' time, actually giving an extra hour of instruction over the standard 12-week class. Our classes offer the following : Full twelve weeks of instruction in ten weeks (plus one additional hour). A great time to ask questions!) Free samples of maternity-related materials Access to our Lending Library of maternity related books and movies A receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement (Most insurance companies will cover at least a portion of your class tuition. If your insurance company covers only hospital-based childbirth classes, I can offer a letter explaining the money-saving aspects our classes have over standard hospital based classes (i.e., less medication, fewer surgeries, etc) Help with developing your ideal birth plan A full list of supportive care providers in your area. (Whether you choose to birth at a hospital, freestanding birth center, or with a homebirth service, we can help you find the right care provider for you.) Continued phone and e-mail support, before, during, and after the birth of your baby.
