Our Services

  • Childbirth Education
    We teach a 10-week course in The Bradley Method® from our home in Eldersburg.
  • Doula Services
    I have had the honor of serving many of our students as a birth doula. I only serve the students who are part of our classes because I have a strong belief in the importance of our personal relationship. After developing trust in each other we can work together beautifully. I am fully aware of the importance of a woman’s partner and I work hard to help that person assist her. I also respect the need for the occasional break a labor coach might need and I seamlessly relieve them of their duties while still keeping them an essential part of the labor and birth. For more information on my doula services including different packages, prices, and references, please email me at birthingbabies@msn.com.
  • Relaxation through Reiki
    In addition to my birth services, I offer Reiki Sessions in your home or mine. For more information on the benefits of Reiki and how to set up an appointment, please click here.
  • Belly Casting
    Do you love the shape of your growing tummy? Would you like to preserve it for memory or just for fun? Set up an appointment for a belly casting. The process if fun and takes less then an hour. You can keep the cast as it is, sand and decorate it yourself, or I can send it out to be painted by a local mom and artist.
  • Natural Baby Care
    Interested in cloth diapers or slings but don’t know where to start? We offer two meetings a year with a cloth diaper and baby carrier/sling educator and distributor to answer all of your questions. Come see the many styles and compare prices. Get the tips you need to make it work for your family.
  • Carroll Birthing Circle
    The Carroll Birthing Circle has been organized to offer support and information to the childbearing families in our area. Our mission is to offer a warm atmosphere to those who are interested in discussing informed choices in childbirth and evidence-based practices. We are a non-profit organization which strives for monthly meetings, but because of busy family life and a wonderful birth business, sometimes we can only meet every other month. We usually meet at the Eldersburg Public Library.

    Past topics have included:

    Elective Cesarean vs. VBAC: the facts and the myths;
    Natural Baby Care;
    You Want to Have Your Baby WHERE??!!;
    Comfort Measures in Pregnancy and Beyond
